    then…

The BODY ACCEPTANCE MOVEMENT (BAM) PROGRAM is for you

The BAM program is designed to help you release unhelpful ways of being in your body once and for all. Grace has taught this program with groups and in high schools for the last three years, with over five iterations and great success.

This course can be delivered digitally, but has proven success in the in-person format. Since the BAM program is designed to create in person relationships and support for people struggling to release strongly conditioned ways of being with food and their bodies.

This program is perfect for your school, your work or your community group.

Here’s a Sneak Peak of Your Course Content

A- Foundations of Diet Culture and the Willingness to change.

-Learn the way we have been culturally programmed to think and behave within the diet mentality even if we are not consciously on a diet or attempting to lose weight.

-Come to understand terms such as weight stigma, diet culture and fat phobia, Health at Every Size and Intuitive eating. We will work with these terms through the course.

-Learn the history of diet culture; how it became ingrained in our culture and understand the harmful narratives it has produced which influence us today.

-Work with Intuitive Eating Steps 1-5

B- Wellness and Beauty - The Good, Bad and the Ugly

-Demystify beauty and wellness culture. With too much information, misinformation and people trying to sell you stuff - learn how to wade through wellness and beauty industries to identify what holds the intention of health and what is actually weight loss or social conformity in disguise.

-See the truth of thin privilege, learn about intersectionality and reveal fatphobia in ourselves and others. See how fear of fat and fear of becoming fat keeps us all shackled no matter what our bodies look like.
