Grace's academic pursuits are centred around her fascination of the human brain and body. Grace is enrolled in a Master’s of Clinical Counselling at Sofia University, CA. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a degree in Psychology and a passion for the poetic science of human mind-body connection.

Later she attended studies in Emergency Medicine (PCP) and created a career of her combined love of teamwork and medicine. She marvels at the advancements in Western Medicine and sees great potential for the integration of Western and Eastern Healing.

Grace has a longstanding relationship with Vipassana meditation, having sat multiple retreats ranging from 1- 10 days in silence. Her yoga studies include a Sattva Yoga YTT with Rameen Peyrow, Vinyasa (tantra and sound) YTT Internship with Katyanna Ryan, as well as visiting India to discover some of the roots of Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga.

Traditional Indigenous rights of passage and the course Changing Minds by Ne’ith Arrow have further clarified Grace’s ongoing understanding of nature and this radical interdependent universe.

Most importantly for Grace, health is a non-pretentious process that includes mind, body and soul. This looks different for every person and almost never fits an instagram worthy storybook. It wears blue collars, white collars and rainbow collars. Sometimes it looks redneck and other times it tastes like granola or caviar.

Grace presently supports people with food challenges. After recovering from years of struggle with restrictive eating and over-exercise; Grace helped found Vancouver Island Voices for Eating disorders and completed the ERA Coaching program to support others in this niche. Grace uses principals of Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size and size inclusive models to educate and encourage clients to remember their innate ability to eat and live in peace.
